Have you ever wondered how I create Bree's look from Desperate Housewives right here in the Roxiticus Valley? Wishing you could step out in a pair of Samantha's gladiator heels or your other favorite Sex and the City clothes? If you'd like to dress and accessorize like your favorite movie star, whether you're going out for a night on the town or never leaving your boudouir, Roxy steps in as your Movie Fashions finder. "I Saw It In" is a web site that helps you to find dresses, jeans, jackets, necklaces, sunglasses and all the celebrity fashions in one place. When I Lived in the West Village I Had Sex in the City, Now I Have Kids in the Suburbs

Until we left Manhattan, my two little girls even shared the swingset in Bleecker Street Park with Sarah Jessica Parker's baby.

Now, my loyal Roxiticus Desperate Housewives readers know that I don't watch much TV. But the Sex and the City movie comes out tomorrow (or even midnight tonight in some locations), so I tried to get ready. I caught a deal on the complete Sex and the City TV series box set in my Golden Snitch from Amazon around the holidays and I had hoped to watch them on my computer while commuting in to NYC on the train. No dice. Long story involving pathetic long-life HP notebook batteries, but suffice it to say, I haven't watched a single episode. Mary Alice and the rest of the Roxiticus Desperate Housewives are off to the 7:00pm show in Morristown, NJ, followed by a late dinner at Pazzo Pazzo tomorrow evening.

Poor dear dead Mary Alice ("Why do I have to be Mary Alice? " she wanted to know, the first time she peeked at my blog. "Because you're leaving the Roxiticus Desperate Housewives and moving to Southern California. I'm devastated.") is always trying to include me on Girls' Night Out (or even a Cowgirl Camping Trip out West), but it is rare that I can make it work. Since Rex and I work hard all week and employ a full-time nanny (who is going to a separate Sex and the City party with her girlfriends tomorrow night!), I'd rather spend the weekends, starting with Friday night, at home with my family. Once the temperatures reach the high 60s, that usually means a beach weekend, but we're staying in the Roxiticus Valley for a swim & tennis birthday party at the Mendham Health & Racquet Club on Sunday morning.
