The Steeplechase Cancer Center at Somerset Medical Center

While Rex and I live closer to and therefore use Morristown Memorial Hospital for all of our medical emergencies and elective surgeries, my mom still lives in Branchburg, NJ, which is best served by Somerset Medical Center. Even though The Steeplechase Cancer Center had not yet opened when my mother struggled with breast cancer, the doctors, nurses and staff at Somerset Medical Center took great care of her and helped her through it.

Since opening a year ago, The Steeplechase Cancer Center at Somerset Medical Center has built a reputation for compassionate, cutting-edge, convenient care, providing the highest quality comprehensive cancer services and compassionate care all under one roof. Patients benefit from a team approach in which cancer specialists and other medical professionals work together to establish the best treatment for patients with breast, prostate and colorectal cancers. From the science of sophisticated technologies and clinical trials to the simplicity of a kind word and a smile – members of the staff at The Steeplechase Cancer Center ensure that patients and their families receive the very best care.

As The Steeplechase Cancer Center begins its second year, they are adding new services, technologies and resources that will further improve the quality of life of their patients.

If you live in Somerset County, New Jersey, and you or a family member need cancer care, you no longer have to choose between compassionate, cutting-edge or convenient care. The Steeplechase Cancer Center at Somerset Medical Center gives you all three. Somerset Medical Center is an affiliate of The Cancer Institute of New Jersey, the state's first and only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center.
