Back to Branson

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Hiltons of Branson. All opinions are 100% mine.

After our relaxing Martin Luther King Day weekend, when we stayed warm by the fire and practiced baking London's birthday cake, the rest of the week turned quite stressful. Rex was away on business, I had deadlines to meet on three different M&A projects (the owners of Project Rocket Science decided they didn't like their secret code name!!), and I just couldn't wait for the weekend. It's the best kind of weekend, when we don't have too much planned. Maddie and London have Mendham Patriots basketball on Saturday morning, we have the real birthday cake to bake for London's ninth birthday and some fun preparations for her first ever slumber party.

I'd also love a getaway weekend, particularly an unexpected one. My niece, Candy, was swept away by her husband last week for a surprise MLK weekend in sunny Miami. A winter weekend in the Ozarks would be fun, too... with the exclusive Romance Package, I could surprise Rex with a weekend getaway at the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel and Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing, maybe for Valentine's Day... raise a glass of in-room sparkling wine upon arrival, shake off the stress in the hotel health club, pool and hot tub, a full American breakfast for two without leaving our room... you get my drift.

If we decide to go out, the two Hilton hotels are situated within the electrifying entertainment capital of the Midwest in Branson, Missouri, with winter events like the 4th annual professional ice sculpting competition or the Master’s Trout Championship. We'll also be within easy driving distance of Branson’s championship golf courses, lakes, museums, theme parks and 49 live entertainment theaters....whatever my Valentine's heart desires.
