I taunted my favorite NYC sports blogger with a comment on his site saying Syracuse would stomp Villanova in the game today. With 8 minutes to go, Syracuse is down by 10 and it is not looking good.
The only good news that would come from a loss today is that I wouldn't have to taint my perfect bracket in the NCAA tournament by picking Syracuse to go all the way, or even make it to the Final Four.
Post-Game Update: Villanova "squeezed the Orange" 82-63 out of the first round of the Big East tournament and almost certainly crushed the Orange chances of making the NCAA Tournament.
