Missed the Twister

One of my newly rediscovered friends from high school "wrote on my wall" at Facebook (I use the quotes because all this twittering and LOL is all new to me) to ask how we had weathered the TORNADO in the Roxiticus Valley this weekend. She and her husband and pugs hunkered down in the basement a few miles down the road from us, apparently around the same time we headed back into our house after spending the afternoon in the sun by the pool??!! Apparently the twister passed right by Bernardsville and Peapack-Gladstone and ended up in Summit, where they saw the funnel clouds. Very unusual for our area. Weird weather patterns, glad to hear everyone in the neighborhood is safe.

Good thing it didn't hit your area, that was really lucky. Thanks to the "weird weather patterns" :) That would have been scary for me. This reminds me of the movie "Twister" from long ago.
