Carmex Arrives Just in Time

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Carmex®. All opinions are 100% mine.

Every now and then, because I'm Roxy the world famous blogger, our family receives a product sample to try out and review here at Roxiticus Desperate Housewives.  On Monday afternoon, there was a nice big box waiting in Roxy's mailbox, with three different samples of new Carmex® Healing Lotion and Carmex® Healing Cream:  a 5.5 ounce tube of new Carmex® Healing Lotion, a 4 ounce tube of new Carmex® Healing Cream, and a travel-size sample of new Carmex® Healing Lotion  that would have fit nicely in my purse.

A few minutes later, London and Maddie hopped off the school bus, with London complaining about chapped lips and face and rough hands.  "What's in the box, Mom??!!" she demanded to know, groping through it, rubbing the Carmex® Healing Cream on her hands and face and snatching up my travel-size sample and popping it into her backpack for use during the rest of the week at school.

For years, our family has relied on the cute little tubs of Carmex Original Formula that's marketed for cold sores but we use for the raw, chapped lips that plague us through the Fall and Winter months.  The new Carmex® Healing Lotion and Carmex® Healing Cream are different... non-greasy and for use anywhere your skin feels dry.  I've been pleased so far with the results. Because my girls and I have very sensitive skin, there are not a lot of lotions we want anywhere near our faces, particularly when the skin is dry and chapped.  Unlike our experience with other lotions (which frequently contain too much perfume), London and I have both applied the Carmex® Healing Lotion and Carmex® Healing Cream to our face and hands with no irritation...it absorbs quickly (Maddie hates it when creams leave her skin looking white or shiny) and has already started to repair our dry, sometimes cracked, skin.

The retail price for each of the full-size products is $5.99 and they can be found at Walgreens stores, Walgreens.com and Drugstore.com.  I'm also going to pick up several of the 99-cent sample sizes for my purse and the girls' backpacks.
