Others have already moved on to Thanksgiving and Christmas plans... new "wish list" catalogs are coming every day in the mail, and we're being asked to make plans for Garden State Ballet's annual performance of the Nutcracker. While our family may travel no further from the Roxiticus Valley than our traditional pizza at Otto with our old neighbors from West 12th Street in the Village, my former co-worker and good friend is making plans to celebrate an Ozark Mountain Christmas "back home" with her family in Missouri, with exclusive packages at the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing and Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. With Hilton packages like "It’s a Wonderful Life," starting at $329 per night and running from Nov 15th thru Dec 23rd, Diane and her family will gather for the holidays and enjoy shopping, rest and relaxation and entertainment. Instead of just playing another round of Old Maid or Go Fish by the fire with Aunt Irma and Uncle Edmund, Diane and her husband will check in and receive a Branson Landing passport loaded with discounts at dozens of shops and restaurants along with a treatment at Aspire Medical Spa.
