If You Think I'm Busy...

I don't know about you, but these days I can't seem to find enough time in the day to get everything done. Since Rex and I joined our new mergers and acquisitions firm at the beginnning of February, it has been a bit of a struggle for our family to get up an hour earlier every morning, get the girls to before care at the school, dash to the Bernardsville train station and hop the train to New York City... then a normal work day, home again, early to bed, and do it all over again. The weekends are filled with activities: kids' birthday parties, the 4-H Prep Rally this past weekend, a make-up tennis lesson for London at Fox Chase Tennis in Chester, NJ, and Sunday dinner (Rex called his recipe, "In Like A Lamb") with Grammy.

When I start to compare my day with others, however, I'm surprised to find how much everyone else has going on in their busy lives. In Branson, Missouri, you can join thousands from around the United States for a weekend of energizing music, thrilling rides, inspirational speakers, praise and worship at the Young Christian’s Weekend running from Friday, March 27th through Sunday, March 29th, 2009 at Silver Dollar City. DownHere!, Kutlass, and Leeland will all will be performing live in concert... participants in the Young Christian's Weekend will enjoy powerful vocals and intelligent lyrics, along with additional mini-concerts and spirit-filled worship services throughout the park. In addition, the Midwest’s premier Christian youth event features messages that feed the soul from Joe White of Kanakuk Kamps and others.

While you're in Branson, of course there's no better place to stay than your choice of the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing or the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. Both of these Hilton/Branson locations offer convenient access to stores, unique boutiques, tasty restaurants, the Branson river walk and other favorite local attractions.

I've already told you about the other events going on in Branson, Missouri in March, including March Madness basketball and the Great American Pie Show. If you still have time on your busy Branson schedule, both hotels are within easy driving distance of Branson’s championship golf courses, lakes, museums, and Silver Dollar City. Ongoing local events include the international folk music and cuisines of World-Fest in Silver Dollar City, not to mention the first ever Branson Air Show at the new Branson Airport.

So, whaddya think... who is busier, Roxy or Branson?
