Music Monday: Young Girl by Gary Puckett and the Union Gap

I've been enjoying the recent Music Monday theme posts by other bloggers like Mariuca and Lady Java, and decided this was the week to run a theme on three of my blogs: Gary Puckett and the Union Gap. While most Music Mondays have found me stuck in the '80s, Gary Puckett dates back even further to the 1960s when my older sisters were growing up. When I was little, maybe even London and Maddie's age, I found the old 45 of "Young Girl" in my sisters' record collection and made it my own. It wasn't long before more than one of the disc jockeys on the local radio stations were dedicating that song to me. If you listen to the lyrics you'll understand that Rex was by no means the first older man in my life.
