Calling Mary Alice...Is Your Husband Paul Ready To Shave His Head for New Zealand??

Just this past August, my BFF Mary Alice and her family left the lovely Roxiticus Valley to move out to the West Coast. Her husband, Paul, had a job offer he couldn't refuse, it never rains in Southern California (and certainly doesn't snow), and Paul wanted to be a bit closer to his beloved homeland, New Zealand. Today, I have the craziest opportunity to tell Mary Alice (and all of you) about...Air New Zealand is holding a casting call in late October to select 30 adults to be shaved and tattooed to serve as cranial billboards (yes, you heard me right, Paul!) in Los Angeles as part of the airline’s marketing campaign promoting life-changing journeys to New Zealand. I know that Paul would be absolutely perfect for the job, and he certainly believes in the message!

So...Mary Alice, all Paul needs to do is drive north on the Pacific Coast Highway (why not bring the whole family?) on Sunday, October 26th between noon and 3pm and check in at the Greenway Melrose Trading Post, located in the parking lot at Fairfax High School at the corner of Melrose and Fairfax in Los Angeles. The lucky ones who are selected will be shaved and the backs of their heads branded with a temporary, two-week henna tattoo that will read "Need a Change? Head Down to New Zealand. Just like in the picture:

Here's a link to a press release with all of the details Paul will need to participate: http://socialspark.com/metrics/click/post?slot_id=22945&url=http%3A%2F%2Faltfarm.mediaplex.com%2Fad%2Fck%2F4608-23280-24630-0

Now, as you know, Rex and the girls and I just returned from a family road trip to Duck, North Carolina (part of the Outer Banks), but I'm not sure I've ever been on the kind of life-changing journey that would merit the transformation of these golden locks... but if Paul won't do it, maybe Roxy will...
