Rex and I went to the most amazing 40th birthday "surprise" party tonight. It wasn't really a surprise, but we had the best time. It was catered by Creativa in Parsippany, and while there was a buffet with caeser salad and ham and pizza and all sorts of other dishes, I just sat on a couch and let them feed me appetizers...lamb lollipops, coconut shrimp, Thai meatballs...yum. Despite the rain, the deejay (Jon Goldberg at 973-879-4983) started up in a tent outside, and we all got to dancin'. The birthday girl called to me, "Strap your hands 'cross my engines" and it just kept going! Cum On Feel the Noise, Talk Dirty to Me ("down the basement, lock the cellar door and baby, talk dirty to me!"), Bad Medicine, American Pie, Badlands, I Want You to Want Me, You Shook Me All Night Long!
This party inspired Rex and me to want to celebrate our next birthdays, though they're both odd numbers...maybe just the best Roxiticus Sunset Party ever...I'll have to get La Bamba & the Hubcaps before they move out to L.A. with Conan O'Brien.

Sounds like you all had a ball. Let's know when you have your birthday. The foods you mentioned made me feel very hungry.
Dropping by with LJL EC on this wet Sunday afternoon my time Roxy..
Have a great Sunday ahead :)
Hi Roxy! Sounds like u and Rex had a fab time! :)
I've been spending the whole of last night and today fixing my PC sigh!! Yup, another restore session but my template is still haywire apparently, looks like another long night for GP! :)
At the risk of being boringly repetitively redundant, you rock, Rox! And it sounds like Rex rocks, too! Princess Gail and I love to dance, too.
Glad to know that you had a wonderful time there. Oh I love pizza btw. My mouth getting watered hearing all the dishes you mentioned!!
Hey Roxy, how's ur day coming along? I am so late today, have not finished any of my EC rounds, trying to drop as many as poss before I call it a night. :)
I'm glad that you enjoyed your time over there.
Your website is very nicely designed, I'm looking forward to see your future posts.
