Mad

I'm moving the entire "Mad" post to my Roxiticus Memoirs blog, since I ended up feeling sorry for Trader...but not until the screen door hit him on the way out!

And yes, Henson, these are all our real names.

Actually, your last comment was actually the first think I thought of as I was reading. Do you, perhaps, change the names to protect the innocent? Trader is not that common a name (in my neck of the woods). But as you say, he's probably too selfish to ever read this blog, so why worry? Anyway, hope everything works out for your special weekend.

Sounds like Trader is a wonderful guy! If things went as you assume they may have...he should be on the curb...not at your doorstep.

BTW - in here from BE Challenge..you got my vote - simply for the fact you did decided to blog about it! LOL

Anyway - I'd be mad as hell too if some selfish asshole ruined my plans with my family as well.

Or maybe I should play Dancing Queen on the iPod three times or so?

Playing Dancing Queen 3 times might work, but I think chocolate would be more satisfying at this point in time. Still, take no chances....have some chocolate WHILE you play Dancing Queen 3x.

No time limit on voting on Yearblook...But if you can, before the end of the month. I'm going for the $100 monthly prize!

Thanks!

Just wait until Mamma Mia comes out July 18th! KMKY was taken out of the movie version, but a cleverly disguised instrumental was inserted in its place. The thing about Knowing Me, Knowing You, with its vocal harmonies and complex arrangement is that it is very well suited for carillons....Back in 1978 when I was at my grandmother's in wisconsin, and I'll never forget this, I was flipping through television stations and this church gospel program was on, but the choir members were doing a dance/singing interpretation of Knowing Me, Knowing You and afterwards the reverend was applying it to a sermon on divorce.

As a 13 year old kid, I just clicked the channel at that point, but 30 years later, you really have to take a step back and appreciate the reach of some songs that you just can't get out of your head.

It is very possible you heard KMKY--this is the year of ABBA, of Mamma Mia! You'll be hearing ABBA a lot more in just one month.

Just one look and I can hear a bell ring....Mamma Mia! Here we go again!

Cheers!
