How's your holiday shopping going? Our family is picking up our Christmas tree at Alstede Farm in Chester, NJ, on Saturday. We'll set it up and decorate it on Saturday night, while singing along with our favorite Christmas songs on Roxy's classic iPod. Then it will be time to check that list, not only for naughty and nice, but for what holiday shopping needs to be done.
It's really no surprise to me that, even in the current economic climate, retailers like Sears have shown year on year growth in same store sales. The reason is that Sears is offering some terrific values on special gifts that the whole family can enjoy.
- Through Saturday, December 13th, Sears is featuring the lowest price of the season on a Fullerton seven (7) foot pool table with a conversion top for table tennis. Regularly priced at $399.99, you'll save a hundred and twenty bucks and wrap it up and take it home for only $279.99.
- If you've been thinking about one of those snazzy LCD HDTVs to snuggle up all winter long and watch your favorite sports (Roxy's fave is NCAA college basketball, leading up to March Madness), Sears will save you $100 on a 20" class Sylvania LCD HDTV, only $199.99 while supplies last.
- According to Grammy and Grandmom, London and Maddie are the most photographed children in the history of the world, and now you can try to keep up with me. I've often posted about being a huge fan of Canon digital cameras, and Sears has the Canon Powershot 8.0 megapixel 4X optical zoom digital camera for $149.99 before $20 instant savings.
