Why Doesn't Disney Stock Rock?

Disney (NYSE: DIS) owns ABC: Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Dirty Sexy Money...

They've also got The Disney Channel, Radio Disney, and everything (music, concert tours, movies, merchandising) that goes along with it: Hannah Montana, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, The Cheetah Girls, those Jersey Jonas Brothers...need I say more?

We saw the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour Movie in Digital 3D on Friday, February 1st (an exclusive one week engagement!!) and it was awesome...worth every penny of $15/ticket for adults and kids alike. We also saw the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds Concert at The Prudential Center in Newark, NJ....mom got tickets for face value through the fan club....just another reason my kids think I rock.
For little girls, there are also the Disney princesses: Cinderella (plus Cinderella II and Cinderella III), Aurora (also known as Sleeping Beauty), Ariel (The Little Mermaid, now on Broadway), Belle (from Beauty and the Beast), Jasmine (from Aladdin), and the lesser known Mulan.
Once they get a little bit older, there's new stuff like Enchanted and edgier stuff like the Disney fairies (I just got a naughty Tink t-shirt at Disneyland in Anaheim, California).

Plus, Bob Iger is hot:

DIS stock is currently around $30. You can take a look at a 10-year stock chart and confirm that DIS has hovered around $30 for the past ten years, with no splits.

I can't answer your question, but I can tell you The Little Mermaid on Broadway is visually stunning and fun for the whole family. Plus-- and I did NOT see this coming-- they sell MERCHANDISE there!
