Attention Political Bloggers: What Are You Folks Doing After the Election Tomorrow?

I launched my Roxiticus Desperate Housewives blog back in August 2005, and really began blogging in earnest (and making my rounds of the blogosphere via BlogExplosion and Entrecard) just this past year. Therefore, I've not been through an election cycle, never mind a Presidential election cycle, to see what happens after Election Day. If I had to guess, I'd expect a few days or weeks of gloating from the winners and whining from the losers, but let's get it straight from the horse's (or donkey's or elephant's) mouth... what are you political bloggers planning post election?

Regardless of the outcome, I'll be writing a scathing F.U. post, because that's just the kind of political beast I am.

I flushed the entire contents of my blog in May and have sporadically been posting on politics since. Mostly because it is all over the news.

I, like 99.9999% of the rest of americans, will stop giving a damn until it's in the news again. I can't promise though that I might every once and while randomly grumble about things and while blaming those in charge (whoever they might be).

Greetings!

I am a political analyst and consultant, based in Ireland, but looking at the whole world (including the USA). I have been writing about the US presidential election since January, when I - correctly, as it turned out - predicted that the final contest would be between Barack Obama and John McCain. (At that time there were still a total of 26 people seeking the nominations of both parties...)
I also predicted in January that Hillary Clinton would fail to win the Democratic nomination, and I explained why. (Have a look at those posts, you might find them interesting.)

After the election I will still write about politics, as I always do, and comment on the things that matter. Elections might be great events for many people, but for a political animal like myself they are just like public holidays. They come from time to time, but the really important political things happen in the times between elections. So, no changes for me after November 4th.

I will probably write on more post about politics the day after the election no matter who wins. After that I will go go blogging about my family!

After the election I am launching a brand new non-partisan government education blog with the help of 6 other political bloggers. It has become very clear that there are a lot of people in this country who feel disenfranchised from the political process and that our government is out of touch. Inside Government will not only explain how the process works, but be a resource to help Americans who want to be involved in the process to get involved.

Cheers!
