As I've surfed around the Blogosphere, researching Other People's Blogs (OPB) to include on my Roxiticus Best Blogs site, I've discovered that many of my fellow bloggers have a great deal of talent...some are serious writers, some are artists or cartoonists, some post their own funny and/or creative YouTube videos. While I'm better at taking pictures with my Canon Digital Rebel (a digital SLR still camera) than I am at making my own movies with a video camera, I found a cool Dockers contest for all the would-be moviemakers out there. (Editing Luke, do you wear Dockers??!!)
As featured on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, the Dockers contest gives you talented folks a chance to show off your own style by making your own 30-second Dockers commercial and submitting it to the judges for your chance to win!
You have until May 29th to submit your video advertisement for consideration. At the end of the Submission Phase, Dockers will judge all eligible commercials on the following criteria: creativity (30%), originality (30%), ability to highlight the Dockers brand (35%), and total Widget User rating (5%). Dockers is going to post the top five (5) videos online to give all of us the chance to vote on the finalists, and the winner (and all the world) will see his or her winning ad during the June 13, 2008 broadcast of The Tonight Show on NBC.
