Late last night I took on my good friend Maggie (Ramblings of Maggie at Coffee Shop Mafia) in a Battle of the Blogs. Thanks to all of you, I won! What does that mean? In a battle where each participant risks 100 BlogExplosion credits, the winner gets 140 credits to use in future battles and the loser, well, the loser has to surf an awful lot of Other People's Blogs in order to get more credits to move forward and fight another day. Special thanks to Maggie for being a good sport and gracious combatant.

After winning that first battle with Maggie, I went to bed, leaving you with my shameless plea for another vote. And vote you did...I've been on a roll, defeating Blurb from the Burbs and Dreaming in the Dark. At the same time, my BlogExplosion promotion has recruited some new members...hopefully BlogExplosion will approve their blogs rapidly and we'll have some fun new blogs with fresh content to visit and vote on among our Battle of the Blogs "regulars".

I just posted a new 200 point challenge and will let you all know which lucky blogger takes me on....

Oh, nooooo....it is Avon Romance Blog, one of my favorite blogs that I first discovered through BlogExplosion and now "drop" by regularly via EntreCard as well. I had believed those Avon Romance Gurlz to be invincible, but I see now that their Battle of the Blogs record is "only" 398-386.
