Today's shout-out goes to Vytas Rugys, Rex's physical therapist at Kessler Rehabilitation Center. I'm typing this post in the reception area while Vytas puts Rex through his paces on the equipment: 30 minutes or so on the passive motion machine, maybe 10 minutes on the exercise bike. Vytas was in charge of Rex's outpatient physical therapy last year when he had his left knee done, and he was so good that Rex has returned to Kessler to finish up the PT on his right knee. Hard to believe that next Monday, it will be a month since Rex's surgery. He's been progressing much more rapidly than last year, and looks to be in good shape to open our beach house in Bay Head, NJ, next weekend.
