Don't Forget! Peter Pan Tomorrow (and Saturday)!

Tomorrow night (Friday, May 16th), Rex and the girls and I are going to see Hexagon Players, Mendham’s only community theater group, performing Peter Pan at Delbarton School. Directed by Debbie Kirsch and produced by Romanna Reda, Hexagon’s Peter Pan is a musical adaptation of the uplifting J.M. Barrie play.

The remaining show dates and times are:

  • Friday, May 16th, 7:00PM; and

  • Saturday May 17th, 2:00PM

“An Awfully Big Adventure…”
Hexagon got off the ground 38 years ago performing classic works such as Annie and The Sound of Music. Now they literally take their cast off the ground to present the flying spectacle of Peter Pan. To accommodate the unusually large cast and orchestra, performances will occur in the Delbarton School’s new state-of-the-art theater. With magnificently engineered acoustics, the 34,000 square foot Fine Arts Center is the ideal place to house this soaring work.

Peter Pan was first performed in 1904, adding timeless, unforgettable characters to the pantheon of the stage. Key talent from Hexagon Players bringing these characters to life for Morris County this spring:

  • Shelby Cashman of Morristown as Peter Pan

  • Alex Chernin of Mendham as Wendy

  • Alexandra Bartley of Lake Hiawatha as Tiger Lily

  • Brian Herrle of Basking Ridge as Captain Hook

  • Michael Piacenza of Long Valley as Smee

  • Musical Direction by Paul Budd

  • Choreography by Doreen Roche

Hexagon Players, founded in 1970, seeks to provide a consistently high quality community theater production and education for the greater Morris County area. The company has performed over 80 productions and featured hundreds of talented local performers in classic musicals, dramatic plays and comedies.
